A wandering independent mercenary who shelters with the Rubicon Liberation Front.

Well versed in long-last classical theater, he has a particular interest in "ninjas" and "kabuki," relics of the past that he learned of from the Japanese immigrant culture which now heavily influences his eccentric style.

Once, when Rokumonsen was on the brink of starvation, he was rescued by Ziyi, who offered him food and shelter—and ever since that day, he has been the sworn enemy of those who would do her and her comrades harm.

My notes

  • His JPN voice actor, Konishi Katsuyuki, also voiced Alfred from Bloodborne! As well as Snorlax in basically every Pokemon anime since the series started. Along with them, Daymond also voiced Hubert von Vestra in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, a role shared with ENG voice actor Robbie Daymond—the voice of G6 Red here in AC6.
  • To my eye, his general character resembles Wolf from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice quite a fair bit. That the two are neutral-party shinobi only loyal to a younger person (and in both cases, one who works against a corrupt system) is what brings me to that conclusion, but really, that's kind of just... a type of character.
  • Rokumonsen (六文銭) could refer to a small handful of various things, but the most likely would be a reference to the family crest of the Sanada clan, a long line of samurai founded in the 16th century. There's a lot of history to dig through there if I wanted specifics, but it certainly seems the most relevant to Rokumonsen here as a character.
