Fourth squad leader of the Vespers, the Arquebus Group's augmented human squad.
Discovered through the recruitment program operated by Schneider, an Arquebus affiliate, Rusty so quickly distinguished himself that he was selected to join the upper echelons of Vespers in less than half a year.

Rusty received augmentation surgery prior to joining the Vespers, and though the precise details are unclear, he has declared himself to be of the eighth generation.

  • His ENG voice actor, Chris Hackney, also voiced Rauru from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Athrun Zala from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED. Along with them, Hackney also voiced Boey in Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valentia, a role shared with JPN voice actor Sasaki Takuma—the voice of "Invincible" Rummy here in AC6.
  • In Japanese, the term he uses is "戦友" which literally translates to "war friend" or "comrade in arms" which is cool. "Buddy" is so cute comparatively...
  • His emblem being a muzzled wolf is like, I wonder if his higher ups think anything of that. "Oh, surely that doesn't mean anything! Pretty cool, though!"
